Some might say it’s because of the blue plate specials at Denny’s and IHOP, but we’re pretty sure that it’s all that safety and sunshine. We did the research to determine which places are as safe as they come based on the most recent FBI crime data. It’s not surprising considering Weston’s safety scored a 9/10 and it probably has a lot to do with their 8/10 employment score.

The data comesfrom American City Business Journals, which obtained the raw statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2016American Community Survey. ACBJ generated all percentages, as well as the wealth index, which is based onan eight-part formula. Indicators of affluence used in this formula include median household income and medianhome value. ACBJ has limited these rankings to ZIP codes with populations of 2,000 or more. Statistical recordsfor a few ZIP codes were incomplete, so they have been excluded.
